What's included and what isn't.
Included in care plan
Edits to existing pages. Text changes, photo swaps, price updates, hours, service updates. Up to 30 minutes (Starter), 60 minutes (Standard), or 90 minutes (Premium) per month.
Out of scope
New pages beyond your tier allowance, full redesigns, e-commerce add-ons. Quoted as one-offs at $75/hr in 30-minute blocks ($37.50 floor).
Your domain stays in your name.
The domain is registered through Cloudflare Registrar in your name on your card, at cost ($9 to $12 a year, no markup). I'm added as a user and listed as Technical Contact only. The legal owner is you.
If we part ways, the domain doesn't move. You keep it. I send you a zip of the site code, transfer admin, and step away.
If you ever want to hand the site to a different developer, you can. The code is plain HTML, CSS, and minimal JavaScript. Any host can serve it.
The questions I hear about money.
When do I pay?
+50% deposit on signing the agreement, balance on go-live. Care plan starts the first full month after launch and the first month is free.
What payment methods do you accept?
+Stripe (card or ACH). The deposit invoice is emailed when you sign. Care plan is auto-charged on the 1st of every month.
Can I cancel?
+Yes. Month to month, 30 days notice. I send you a clean export of the site code, transfer admin of the domain to you, walk away.
Do I own the domain?
+Always. The domain is registered through Cloudflare in your name on your card. I'm listed as technical contact only. Renewal is $9 to $12 a year at cost, no markup.
Can I move the site somewhere else later?
+Yes. The site is plain HTML, CSS, and minimal JavaScript. Any host can serve it. I'll send the export and disconnect cleanly.
What if I want a new page or a redesign?
+Quoted as a one-off. New pages beyond your tier allowance, full redesigns, or e-commerce add-ons run at $75/hr in 30-minute blocks ($37.50 floor).
Do I need a separate email?
+Optional. Cloudflare Email Routing is free and forwards yourname@yourdomain.com to whatever inbox you already use. I'll set it up if you want.
Can I hire someone else to make changes?
+Yes. The code is yours. You can hand it to another developer at any time. The care plan covers my time only.
